The Sacrament of Baptism
We are always delighted to carry out baptisms for regular members of our parish and for people who live within our parish boundaries. In bringing forward your child for baptism, you seek to make a permanent connection between your child and Christ with the Catholic community. In this sacrament, the Catholic community promises to walk beside you in nurturing the faith of your child.
Here is a checklist of what you will need in order to register your child for Baptism:
1. Registration Form
This form should be completed by the parents of the child to be baptized. We can not reserve or confirm a date for the ceremony until we have received this form.
2. Birth Certificate or Hospital Record

3. Two Sponsor Forms
Each godparent will need to complete a sponsor form. Once the godfather and godmother have completed the upper section of the form they will need to visit their home parish to request that their pastor sign the bottom section and stamp it with the parish seal.
4. Baptism Class
Both godparents and at least one of the parents must participate in a baptism class prior to the date of the baptism ceremony. We offer the class in our parish on the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM. The complete schedule can be found in "2015 Baptism Schedule" document.
If either the parents or godparents can not attend the class at our parish they are welcome to participate in the class at another Catholic church, but they must provide a letter or certificate verifying their attendance.
